Oggi aggiungiamo un importante parco alla nostra mappa, un’area vastissima e protetta dove con i nostri cani possiamo immergerci in un piccolo paradiso lontano dal caos urbano.
La riserva di 123 ettari, costutuisce una delle 51 zone umide di importanza internazionale presenti in Italia, conta più di 175 specie animali (in particolare uccelli) e oltre 226 specie vegetali censite ufficialmente.
La Palude di Ostiglia è collegata alle aree protette del Sistema Parchi dell’Oltrepò Mantovano attraverso la Ciclovia dei Parchi, e giace lungo la Via Claudia Augusta: un percorso ciclabile che ripercorre il tracciato dell’antica strada imperiale che collegava il fiume Danubio al Po.
Per cominciare la nostra passeggiata parcheggiamo l’auto nel parcheggio gratuito, e utilizziamo con Layla e Pippi guinzagli lunghi da 10 e da 5 metri, nel rispetto della fauna protetta.
Il sentiero è indicato in una prima mappa all’ingresso, ci incamminiamo quindi per trascorrere qualche ora immersi nel silenzio e nei suoni della Natura.
Per godere a pieno di questo luogo magico il consiglio è di portare con voi una coperta, qualcosa da mangiare e qualche snack per i vostri amici a 4 zampe per fare una pausa sull’erba in totale relax.
Non dimenticate mai ciotole e acqua fresca perché qui non sono presenti fontanelle, ed essendo un percorso di media lunghezza è bene portarsi qualche borraccia.
Sono presenti diversi punti di osservazione dai quali, con l’aiuto di un esperto LIPU, possiamo osservare le varie specie presenti vivere la quotidianità in questo ambiente ancora selvatico e in parte incontaminato.
