Venerdì 7 ottobre Cloe, Rasty, Cuba, Beppe, Kody, Scotty, Uran e Ricky hanno partecipato con le loro splendide famiglie alla seconda tappa di Doggymap Tour!
Circondati dalle altissime piante del percorso di Sparafucile, hanno sperimentato una passeggiata sociale immersi nel bosco, presente una sola femmina, alcuni maschi sterilizzati e alcuni interi.
Vi metto in evidenza questo particolare perché non è indifferente: gli stati ormonali sono infatti molto diversi se il cane è sterilizzato oppure no, e riferendosi a ormoni e feromoni per prendere informazioni, ogni cane si farà un’idea degli altri anche a seconda che sia palesemente chiaro il genere oppure no.
Ogni partecipante umano ha potuto scoprire anche qualcosa di nuovo del proprio cane: chi ha sperimentato un tuffo nel lago, chi ha provato ad allenare la calma durante la pausa, chi ha scoperto il proprio ruolo nel gruppo…
Queste esperienze infatti, nonostante il guinzaglio, permettono al binomio persona-cane di conoscersi meglio, perché le dinamiche di gruppo sono ben diverse da una passeggiata individuale: sono importantissime le distanze, gli sguardi e le posture che ogni cane assume, il modo di camminare e di annusare a terra, senza dimenticare le marcature.
Più esperienze di questo tipo si fanno insieme ai nostri cani, e più le loro competenze sociali verranno espresse, e nel momento della pausa, in cui ci si siede a terra e si riprende fiato, ecco che l’apprendimento è nella sua massima funzionalità: sembra che non accada nulla, ma in realtà è un momento di socialità molto intenso.
