Vi scrivo oggi di un parco davvero bellissimo che si trova a pochissimi chilometri da Mantova, possiamo dire che sia il più lontano, per ora, dal centro della città, ma sono certa che ai vostri cani piacerà tantissimo…
Ci troviamo nel comune di Goito, paese che si attraversa per raggiungere Brescia e il Lago di Garda, e proprio accanto al Monumento al Bersagliere possiamo parcheggiare l’auto e avviarci a piedi verso il lungo Mincio.
Qui consiglierei di utilizzare un guinzaglio lungo, diciamo da 3 o 5 metri, ma mi preme porre l’attenzione su alcuni punti dell’argine in cui non c’è protezione come rete o arbusti, e dato che la corrente del fiume è parecchio forte non farei tuffare il cane per farsi il bagno all’inizio della passeggiata.
Direi quindi che se il nostro cane è avvezzo al nuoto e desidera entrare in acqua non è il luogo più adatto per lui o lei, proprio per il pericolo che si corre.
Ottimo percorso invece per cani che amano camminare ed esplorare nel verde: si raggiunge infatti un piccolo boschetto dove altissime piante e cespugli circondano il sentiero e dove la frequentazione non è molto alta, consigliato perciò anche a quei cani che non sono inclini alla socializzazione con umani o altri cani.
E’ presente anche una piccola area picnic dove poter fare una pausa, proporre qualche gioco per spezzare la passeggiata e renderla ancora più interessante, condividere una merenda o un momento di relax.
Questo sentiero è un anello dal quale si può uscire arrivati in fondo alla prima metà, proseguendo per il grande prato che si trova di fronte superato un ponticello, oppure si può tornare indietro dall’altro lato per raggiungere il monumento e osservare dalla sponda la meravigliosa Villa Giraffa.
Abbiamo un ulteriore stimolo in questo percorso che è la costruzione per bambini presente all’inizio della passeggiata: può essere divertente coinvolgere il cane (sempre se è un cane che ama questo tipo di interazioni) in un gioco dinamico o di ricerca intorno al gioco dei bimbi (nel momento in cui non è utilizzato), per scaricare lo stress della passeggiata (che può essere positivo o negativo, dipende dal cane) e tornare in auto in serenità.
Questo consiglio vale soprattutto per quei cani molto attivi, che necessitano di alternare la camminata con altre attività, in modo da appagare sia il bisogno di movimento e di ricerca di odori, ma anche di gioco e leggerezza.
